Ingrédients
- 3 cups green or white cabbage, thinly sliced
- 2 medium sized potatoes, cut in 1/4 inch cubes
- 1 can of tomatoes
- 1 medium onion, quartered and thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1-2 chili flakes
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tbsp dry mustard
- 5 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp of lemon juice
- 1 tbsp oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Préparation
- Heat oil in a large soup pot. Sauté onion over medium heat for 5 mins. Stir in garlic and chili flakes. Sauté for 1 min.
- Stir in coriander and mustard. Add broth and rest of ingredients except cabbage. Simmer for about 20 minutes, uncovered until potatoes are tender.
- Add cabbage and cook for another 5 minutes. Season to taste.
Heavy version
- Sauté 200 g bacon in a pan.
- Holy Trinity : 1 stock celery -> chop + sauté + broth/stock cube/bouillon
- When boiling, add cabbage for 3 min.
