Carrot Cake

Ingrédients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups grated carrots
  • Frosting :
    • 1/2 cup butter, softened
    • 1 cup Tressant
    • 4 cups powdered sugar
    • 1 tsp vanilla

Préparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour large cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together eggs, oil, white sugar and 2 tsp vanilla.
  3. Mix dry ingredients. Add to wet ingredients.
  4. Stir in garrots. Pour into prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 40-50 mins.
  6. Frosting: In a medium bowl, combine butter, Tresana, powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla.
  7. Beat until mixture is smooth and creamy.
  8. Frost the cake when it has cooled.
